I bought the book, read the first 4 chapters and don't have a clue!

Ok, so I may be able to make a table and a simple database, Then I have to learn PhP just to view what's in my database.... Friggin nerds, Why do they have to make things so complicated???

In my mind I see a list of customers, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and how much they can afford to spend on a new house. I can draw it on a piece of paper in 2 minutes. It's going to take me a month to draw it with MySQL and another two months to decipher it with Php.

haha no.

you'd have to learn how to make images in PHP. meaning "draw this line from this point to this point" in code.

If you want an easier way to admin a MySQL database and you have PHP, get PHPMyAdmin. There's also other programs out there that don't use that. Check MySQL.org to get some DB management tools.
