i'm here now. i had to clean up after lab. I had a sep funnel full of pH 1 water, diethyl ether, and cyclobutylcarboxylic acid pop on me. that shit stunk. and stung.

So get rid of the rest of the site but leave the board.

To this day, this is the only place I've ever done much chatting. I go to www.jeepsunlimited.com when my jeep breaks down and I need to know how to fix it but I don't linger there after the problem is fixxed.

Like this weekend my jeep was spitting green crap all over the palce and at first I thought it was a hose so I replaced the hose but then it still leaked so I got on the jeep board and they told me it was the water pump so for $50 I replaced the water pump and installed new belts and like it was all better and only took 3 hours and the shop would have charged me $300 for the same thing.

Man, I never really thought about that. Quake2.com went live in early 1997, and I know that GFKiller, WillyT, and I started posting here when the site was still new.

FWIW, next month marks 10 years since I posted my first Doom maps on CDROM.com and became involved in the community as more than just a player. It's kinda weird to realize that I've been doing this for a decade...

holy crap, guys. I'm going to be 25 2 weeks from sunday. I was actually 17 when I started here. And I'm going to finally finish my degree another two weeks after that.

And the extraction tasted horrible, just for the record. Like a chem lab floor. Not that I go around licking floors in chem labs. I hate ochem.

Anyway, it's amazing to think about all that's gone on through here. These boards are truly epic.
