Ah, yes.. the 1-up trick. Remember the negative warp trick in 1-2? I think my favorite was jumping over the flagpole in 3-3, but I only managed it a few times. It was hard to do. That clip brings back a few good ol' smb memories.

I downloaded 750+ SNES roms complete with an emulator...feeling kinda giddy now since I got that PS2 Dual Shock controller to work perfectly on my system with some emulators. So now I just wish a REAL XBox emulator (wrapper...ANYTHING!) would emerge hehe

just get a dreamcast on ebay and burn a NesterDC disc. no system mods necessary, and the DC is really cheap now (and while you're at it, get soul calibur, worms world party, and sega gt. Worms World Party is the ULTIMATE mltiplayer game. It's even better than mario party)

Since you live in the US now Ser, it is linked to the US peeps...you can get it on ebay but it will most likely be more there, then you have shipping and the wait time...just go to the store, have it now and you know it works....and they work awesome. Zippy started me on this....i was always content using my Logitech rumblepad but this BLOWS ANY OTHER PC GAMEPAD SOLUTION OUT OF THE WATER!!

After getting the adapter, you simply just have to get your emulators and ROMS. I dunno, I played Bubble Bobble with the gf until we got to level 100 and I for the first time ever fought the big boss dude...I almost beat him but we paused it to go out for supper and the game was lost. Nice thing about most emulators is you can actually save your gamestate even if the game does no support saving...but i didn't do that.

I like going back to the simpler games...the more primitive and reminiscent side of gaming actually seems more fun now.

You can also wire an XBox controller to a PC USB adapter and it'll work. All you need is a spare USB connector, a pair of wire strippers and 5 minutes free time. I want to try it out.

Dude, wtf system is this game on? I was expecting the old-school 8-bit version, but this looks and sounds like its running on a SNES (or a SNES emulator). I'd like to pick this up somewhere if I can.

It is on the SNES....it is part of Super Mario All Stars. It has all the NES Marios, Super Mario World and the Lost Levels.

Gimme a shout and I will send you the ROM (all 3MB of it lol). And it is running on an emulator... http://www.snes9x.com

I recorded it to a movie output....which basically is like a timedemo. I then played it back (hence the "movie started" in the video) and at the same time then recorded it to an avi (built in feature of snes9x. I then took the 182MB avi and encoded it into a 3MB .wmv with WME 9.

As for the X Box controller conversion: http://www.fury-tech.com/Modding/Xbox-Controller-PC-Conversion-Mod
