I was at Pocono Intl Speedway this past weekend with NESBA. I ride a 929, bone stock, Pirelli Diablo Corsa tires.

Such a great time.. Anyone else interested in checking it out? It's a 5.5 hour drive for me, so I don't wanna hear that excuse

Do your knees actually touch the ground when you ride or no??

Yea, absolutely. You wear hard plastic pads called pucks that velcroe onto your leathers. You actually touch down with your shin - the puck goes just beneath and to the outside of your knee. Next thing down is usually your boot and / or footpeg. But if you really know what you're doing (and I'm not there yet), you can drag your elboe.

It's just about the most fun I've ever had. Last weekend was my best track experience by far. I was going to post these in the "Coolest thing you've ever done" thread, but I'm still not entirely convinced this was it. Certainly a contender, tho.

Side note: I'm doing about 85mph in all of those pictures (same corner), that's ~9,000RPM in 2nd gear. Exiting that turn I'll tack out 2nd and ride the rev limiter for a couple seconds (115mph) before braking down to about 40 and hitting 1st (rear end of the bike sliding all over the place) to dip into what they call the "bus stop", a 180' right.

I might have some onboard footage available soon, as I had my friend's camcorder on my bike for 2 sessions.
