Apparently Comcast decided to pull DNS entries for their customers this past weekend. The Q2 server should forever be reachable at jdolan.dyndns.org. Sorry if some of you missed it this weekend :/

On that note, anyone up for a game tonight? 9-9:30ish EST?

i'd play, but our network is still shit.

we got an email from the IT people (proving all the dumbasses go into IT...*run*) blaming their shitty network on viruses and 'abuse.'

on the good side, they're supposed to be adding another line soon, so maybe the bandwidth will go up. bet PL'll still suck, though.

Burble, you know, when they say abuse they mean people sharing Gigabytes of shit per month.

Filesharing can KILL a network, if enough people do it.

Absolutely. Napster was *huge* when I was living at a dorm, and yea - you couldn't load a web page between 9am and 11pm. Worms weren't as much of a problem then, tho..

Btw, if you guys notice that my server is performing poorly just let me know. I sometimes have people downloading DJ mixes from my website that can chew up my bandwidth. I can usually, however, ask them to stop for a couple hours.
