#1 - dont ask for recruits in a forum youve never been to before. im in a small clan. we've been around for 2 years, and only because everyone became friends before they became part of the clan. thats how it works, if you want to do it right.

(Rogue ~ Even if you most propably are right, you sound a little harsch in judging clanomega even before it's born.)

Ag3nt ~ I think however there is a point to what Rogue has to say. It is a good idea to begin by gathering a couple of guys, that you most preferably know in real life, for the clan.

Make sure that the guys are willing to play actively in a clan. Keep it simple and keep it together. Trust me you wan't a clan with dependable players etc. Not nice to have a clan where nobody know anything about anybody, and no one shows up for matches.

Any way, when you recruit people it's a good idea to mention where the clan is based... to avoid major ping issues.

I'm with Lindi.
My clan started out as a few of us who always sided on the same team. We just had fun together and had the same sense of humor (repeatedly typing MUNKEE while shooting each other off telephone lines with handcannons- this was ActionQuake 2 by the way ). We formed a pretty laid back clan and that's about it. It was all people we knew- we didn't have to worry about ping or practices because it was all relaxed.
