I bought a small pepper plant 30-40 days ago from a local farmer's market. The guy said it's a very hot small pepper from South America. The peppers are pretty decorative turning from yellow to purple to red so I thought I would transplant it and bring it inside the house. The guy said it should grow year round inside.

Anyway after a week inside I notice many leaves appear to be missing. our one cat likes to eat plants so I thougt it was her until I looked closer at the plant.

What in the hell is this thing:

let it live until it makes a cocoon.

then flush it, 'cause it comes out as a moth.

Uuh, no it aint. I've seen those things, too..gross! Careful pulling it off the plant. I would imagine that hook/spike is more than decorative.

It is a Tomato worm.

I had my kids pluck those things off the plants all summer. They are very bad.

yuck. By itself it is one ugly little thing but with those parasitic wasp things it is even worse. I'm going to have nightmares tonight!
