"Still" and "And all that could have been" are two of the greatest albums I've ever listened to.

I don't get that band, but I will try to give it another listen.

I prefer:

Alice in Chains
Stone Temple Pilots
Nirvana

I am not sure if I am going to like this album, the leaked mp3 thats been floating around that I heard seemed kind of bland and generic.

Xan - I heard that Dave Grohl plays on the new NIN CD. Oh and thanks again for that QOTSA CD which I really am getting into right now. Looking forward to the show coming up. I am going to buy the CD when it comes out this month to support the band.

Hey Cac,

You heard right, Dave Grohl does drum on the new NIN album, that guy sure gets around huh? I love the new QOTSA album too, Its been in heavy rotation since I got it and I will buy it when its released on my birthday!

I think its great you are seeing them live, which to me is the best way to support a band. They'll get more of that money in their pocket than they will from cd sales.

In the height of my hip-hop days growing up as a youngin, NiN was the only one to catch my attention that I enjoyed thoroughly.

Whatever album March of the Pigs was on, that's my fav.

March of the Pigs is from (my favorite), "The Downward Spiral".

I want a little bit
I want a piece of it
I think he's losing it
I wanna watch it come down
don't like the look of it
don't like the taste of it
don't like the smell of it
I wanna watch it come down

all the pigs are all lined up
I give you all that you want
take the skin and peel it back
now doesn't it make you feel better

shove it up inside, surprise, lies
stains like the blood on your teeth
bite, chew, suck (away the tender parts)

I want to break it up
I want to smash it up
I want to fuck it up
I wanna watch it come down
maybe afraid of it
let's discredit it
let's pick away at it
I wanna watch it come down

all the pigs are all lined up
I give you all that you want
take the skin and peel it back
now doesn't it make you feel better
the pigs have won tonight
now they can all sleep soundly
and everything is alright

My favorite from that CD is at the end of The Becoming...

It won't give up, it wants me dead.
Goddamn this noise inside my head...

My absolute favorite nin song is Wish from the Broken Album

This is the first day of my last days
I built it up now I take it
Apart climbed up real high
Now fall down real far
No need for me to stay the last thing left I just threw it away
I put my faith in god and my trust in you
Now there's nothing more fucked up I could do

Wish there was something real wish there was something true
Wish there was something real in this world full of you

I'm the one without a soul I'm the one with this big fucking hole
No new tale to tell twenty-six years on my way to hell
Gotta listen to your big time hard line bad luck fist fuck
Don't think you're having all the fun
You know me I hate everyone

Wish there was something real wish there was something true
Wish there was something real in this world full of you

I want to but I can't turn back
But I want to

I had tried to search out their main release CDs for a while but I always come up short or I'm not sure which song goes with what album. I don't know them that well, but I do enjoy their music.

One of these days I'll run across them...

I'd look for some good quality Bittorrent sites if I were you. That's the only way I deal in music now days. It's so much easier to just download the entire album at once than to grab each song individually.

For example, I just got my hands on the new Fantomas album, slated for release next month off of a tracker. (Fnckin awesome btw).

I haven't heard much of his other stuff. I got into Fantomas by accident, by way of his work on the "Irony is a Dead Scene" ep by Dillenger Escape plan. One of these days I'll check the rest of his stuff out. I tend to lean more towards hardcore/emo/indie in my music.
