hey, i have a hardrive with linux on it installed.i jus recently got a spare 3 gig( haha its a joke i knw) and i put windows on it. how do i mount my linux hardrive so when i'm in windows, i can read my linux hardrive? i hope that's clear. so pretty much, when i'm in windows, it reads the other hardrive under device manager.
but when i open my computer, it doesn't show up. thanx --------------------

Well. . .the short answer is no you can't.Windows can't read XFS. Well. . .the short answer is no you can't.But you can get this proggy called explore2fs which will enable you to read and write to ext2 and ext3 from Windows. It's not a mount though, it's a file browser like program. I've used it to read stuff, but never to write. Use at own risk. http://uranus.it.swin.edu.au/~jn/linux/explore2fs.htm You can also get a filesystem driver at http://ashedel.chat.ru/ext2fsnt/

hey, thanx for those links maddoggi can now view all my pr0n! score! the reason why i wanted to be able to use my other hardrive was so that I could install games onto it. I read this link http://uranus.it.swin.edu.au/~jn/linux/ex2fsfile.htm am I supposed to do that under linux? i mean, is this what im supposed to do to write to a linux partition?
imma total newbie to this linux stuff. i do like to transparent terminal window thing thouh  too bad command prompt windows dos thing doesn't have that option --------------------
