Morning all. Cable is good.

I installed the 1.30 patch the other day and haven't played Q3 since, so I'm assuming it's a problem to do with the PR.

When I get into a level, everything is fine. As soon as I add a bot I constantly get the message "dropping sound" repeating over and over again where the chats usually appear.

I can't for the life of me think why I'm getting this. Error messages usually show up in yellow in the console, but this is white text.

Like I said, I guess it's a 1.30 problem, so I'll reinstall that. Any ideas on what to do? Do I have to reinstall Q3, all point releases? Or can I simply delete a few .pk3 files?

Nevermind, it's all fixed.

I uninstalled Q3 and deleted every file, reinstalled and patched it back to 1.30 (I missed 1.29 but it doesn't seem to matter) and everything's rosy.

Pars - now that I have cable I don't leave the computer chair. You should know that. You'll be waiting at a cafe on St Kilda strip and you'll hear a low rumbling sound, you'll look up and see me hooning down the asphalt in my chair (and probably hit a small pebble and go flying). And I'll have my Ps by January...

Mmm bloody red I remember now that I used to have the blood and gibs turned off so Q3 is more violent than I ever remember it to be
