Guess what came out yesterday... The Tea Party's newest cd. And guess who has it... me! Usually The Tea Party have fifty genres in one song, but the whole cd, pure ass kicking guitaring cutting Rock. I know that the cover might not really show that.

Do you still go to CC? There's some pretty nasty shit going down there. If not, did you move to any of the boards spawned from the big purge?

Oh, and tBB is the board at Force3d.com, popularly called the Blue Board (as this is called the Green Board) because of it's colour scheme...

quote:The Interzone Mantras was written in the creative whirlwind of freeform rehearsals. The band delved into different ideas, built upon each other's suggestions, and refined their musical tapestries prior to going into the studio. They virtually road tested the material in the privacy of their rehearsal space. "It was a much more organic way, writing it all together," says bassist Stuart Chatwood. According to drummer Jeff Burrows, "We cut to the chase. It's a blast for me to play."
For Jeff Martin, it was the necessary spark the band needed in order to keep going. "I needed to get back to playing guitar again. Not thinking so much about producing, layering, and colors. I needed to play guitar." The result is the most guitar heavy of all the Tea Party releases to date. The Interzone Mantras is laden with the menacing power Tea Party fans have experienced in concert over the years. From the driving opening notes of "The Interzone" to the majestic crescendo of the closing track "Mantra", the album reflects the determination of a band that bunkered down and played like their lives depended on it.

Woah! I seems at a Roy Harper party for his latest cd "The Green Man" which Jeff Martin Produced and play on, Jeff Martin got wasted and played a cover of Daniel Lanios' (U2 producer) song, "The Maker". Anyways, Jimmy Page heard it, and told Jeff that he would be interested in recording that song with him. Much later on, Jeff caught up with Daniel Lanois, and he also wants to be a part of the song (producing). Anyways, I think that's going to be a cool recording since Jeff and Jimmy had thought about getting together to work together.
