"all this talk of getting old... it's getting me down my love. Like a cat in a bag, waiting to drown... this time I'm coming down"

I heard that song today... now it's in my head. urrrhhh.

Anyway.

So my system, yeah. it's odd. You know the speaker on my sound tray... sometimes when I boot up it's not there, and sometimes it's there. And when it's not there... it acts like it's never been installed. But when you restart windows then it's like there. Well sometimes.

Also my internet connection... sometimes when I'm connected it wouldn't let me send big amounts of information on forms. For example, I probably wouldn't be able to send this. But all I have to do is disconnect and reconnect again... and then sometimes it works again, sometimes I have to do it again. Last night it was pissing me off becuase I had to do it about 12 times.

What say you guys?

I think you should hit "del" on boot and scroll through your bios settings and turn off "plug and play" then get into windows and delete your TCP/IP, and drivers for your modem and sound card. Then re-install them manually.

Sometimes thingies get corrupt if you follow me and sometimes plug and play sucks. "Format" is a great solution if you know how to accomplish the task.

Good luck!
