Planetquake got a couple of good one but yeah there isn,t too much new mod for Quake 2. instead there is some mod that are still on the work for Quake II. One that I could recommend, wich is hosted on our site  is Ninja Quake 2. Playing against some bots (the reaper bot) and it's very fun.
