Bot Type:
This drop-down box allows you to choose between three different types of bot activity: Disable bots,
User-Defined bots, and Automatic Bots. If bots are disabled, your server will not need the CD ROM to run.
User-Defined bots allow you to select which bots you want to add to your server, and
Automatic Bots are those that connect and disconnect based on parameters you select.
Disable Bot Chatting:
When checked, the bots don't chat.
Bots List:
This list shows all the bots that are installed with Q3A. Simply check the box next to the bots that
would like to have on your server.
Bot Skill:
This allows you to select the skill for each bot. These settings are saved so that you can customize
each bot to your liking.
Bot Team:
This allows you to select the team for each bot. These settings are also saved.
Edit List:
If you would like to add support for custom bots, click this button, and add the name of the bot to
the bottom of the list. You will need to save this file before you close it. You will then need to
click the refresh button (see below)
Refresh:
After you have edited the bot list (see above) this button will refresh the list of bots.
Create Bot Script:
Servarena saves the bot script as a separate file (called srvbots.cfg). After you have selected the bots,
skill level and team assignment, press this button to create the script.
This portion of Servarena takes advantage of a built-in feature of Quake 3 Arena. This feature allows you
to automatically assign bots to your server. These bots are kicked off the server when real players join.
Bot Skill:
Selects the skill for all bots that are added to the server. This feature of Quake 3 Arena does not allow
you to set skill levels for individual bots.
Number of Bots:
This number indicates how many bots will be spawned. As real (human) players join the game, the bots are
kicked. Once the number of clients reaches this number, all the bots will be kicked.
